Lamba Nature Reserve

Nature,
in all its richness.

Conserve. Understand. Share.

Our work

Preserving a balance.
Building coexistence.

Lamba Nature Reserve pursues conservation, environmental education and the protection of local ecosystems. Its opening marked the day of 18 January 2026.

Protecting species
and their habitats.

Protecting wildlife and preserving tropical forests are at the heart of our mission. This approach seeks lasting coexistence with local populations.

Understanding
to act more effectively.

The foundation includes fieldwork, scientific data collection and animal population monitoring among its priorities for developing conservation strategies.

Growing
commitment.

Environmental education and awareness among neighbouring communities accompany this approach. A tree-planting activity closed the reserve’s opening day.

The story of that day

In the field,
close to nature.

Setting cameras in the forest, crossing streams, caring for animals: the foundation’s work begins outdoors, in direct contact with habitats.

What our
cameras see.

Placed along wildlife trails, camera traps are triggered by movement, day and night. Their images help identify the species present.
